Why a blog indeed. Good question.

I spend a lot of time on social media. Sharing photos of plants and gardens, tips etc. But Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are all very “fast”. You post something, and next year, month or even in a couple of days, people won’t see it anymore. This can be a shame, but in some instances it can also be a blessing. 😉

Sometimes I would like to share a story, tell more about a plant, give instructions on how we did something, or just group more photos together to paint a bigger picture of a garden. Through the blog I hope it will be possible to share this information, and keep it archived so it will be possible for other people and me to find it again.

Also, having worked as a garden journalist and editor most of my working life i missed the creative writing.

Happy reading.
